In Osaka Museum of History, featured exhibition Recent Acquisition 2004-2006 is held from April 2nd, 2008 to May 19th in featured exhibition room.
Osaka Museum of History have been collected a lot of articles relating Osaka, through donation from people of Osaka city, deposit and purchase, including the period of Osaka Municipal Museum. The materials are amounted about 110,000 pieces, relating History, Art, Archaeology, Folk customs, Entertainment, Architecture and other.
After the previous same theme exhibition was conducted in 2005 (Heisei 17), over 8,000 new pieces have been joined our collection. This exhibition shows representative 80 articles from these recent acquired pieces in each field.
